You spend all day masking, performing, and holding it together. Soffyn is where you don't have to. A wellness space built for neurodivergent Black women — with affirmations, journaling, and support that actually gets how your brain works.
Built by listening
"Didn't hold my attention, also cost"
"I didn't build the habit of using them, or I lost interest"
"Had to pay for a version without ads"
"Not being heard about whatever I'm dealing with, big and small"
We built soffyn around every single one.
What soffyn does
Affirmations written for us. Not toxic positivity. Truth that actually holds on hard days and good ones.
Type it, photograph it, say it out loud. However the thought comes out.
Get your dreams and aspirations out of the notes app. Track goals, build habits, and keep streaks that don't punish you for being human.
Your data is yours. Control what you share and with whom.
A calmer experience, a focus timer, and quick-capture for when thoughts move fast. No overwhelm. No maze to navigate before you get to the thing that helps.
Built by a neurodivergent Black woman, for neurodivergent Black women — and everyone else who needed something like this to exist. You're in the right place.
About soffyn
Hi, I'm Akia — a neurodivergent Black woman, developer, and accessibility consultant who got tired of wellness apps that weren't built for brains like mine.
I've tried almost every wellness app on the market. They were either too cookie cutter, too demanding, or just too much for my brain. I'm a forgetful girl. Out of sight, out of mind. Streaks don't work for me. My hopes and dreams have a habit of becoming hoarded thoughts in the notes app.
And no app understood the specific exhaustion of spending all day masking — at work, in every room — and then coming home to a wellness app that asked me to perform even more.
I needed something that meets me in the middle. A place to be myself that's gentle, rewarding, and completely okay if I don't show up every single day.
Always there when you need it. Never mad when you don't.
That's soffyn. I built it for me. And I built it for you.
The people who asked for soffyn before it existed also asked for a place to find each other. That's next. Join the waitlist and be first in the room when it opens.
