A Black woman at peace, resting
A Black woman writing in her journal
A Black woman smiling, relaxed at home

You told me why you stopped using other apps.

"Didn't hold my attention, also cost"

"I didn't build the habit of using them, or I lost interest"

"Had to pay for a version without ads"

"Not being heard about whatever I'm dealing with, big and small"

I built soffyn around every single one.

Everything your brain actually needs.

New here? A quick note.

What does "neurodivergent" mean?

Neurodivergent describes brains that think, learn, and experience the world differently — including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, anxiety, OCD, and more. It's not a flaw. It's just how your brain works.

If you've spent your life in wellness spaces that weren't built for how your brain actually works — you're in the right place. You don't have to explain yourself here.

I built the app I couldn't find.

Hi, I'm Akia — a neurodivergent Black woman, software engineer, and accessibility specialist who got tired of wellness apps that weren't built for brains like mine.

I've tried almost every wellness app on the market. They were either too cookie cutter, too demanding, or just too much for my brain. I'm a forgetful girl. Out of sight, out of mind. Streaks don't work for me. My hopes and dreams have a habit of becoming hoarded thoughts in the notes app.

And no app understood the specific exhaustion of spending all day masking — at work, in every room — and then coming home to a wellness app that asked me to perform even more.

I needed something that meets me in the middle. A place to be myself that's gentle, rewarding, and completely okay if I don't show up every single day.

Always there when you need it. Never mad when you don't.

That's soffyn. I built it for me. And I built it for you.

The people who asked for soffyn before it existed also asked for a place to find each other. That's next. Join the waitlist and be first in the room when it opens.
