Something's been missing. You've been trying to take care of yourself in spaces that were never built for a brain like yours.
soffyn is a wellness app built for neurodivergent Black women — one that doesn't need you to justify why you showed up.

This is for the you that nobody sees.
The one who's tired in a way sleep doesn't fix. Who's brilliant and scattered and has seventeen tabs open and hasn't eaten since noon. Who holds it together for everyone else and falls apart in the car on the way home. Wherever you are with your own stuff — that's where soffyn meets you.

what's waiting for you
Finally. exhale. Something that gets you.
Daily affirmations
Affirmations written for us.
The ones you've tried before felt like lying to your own face. 'I am enough' hits different when your brain is already three steps ahead calling it out. The affirmations in soffyn were written for the specific kind of tired that comes from masking all day — the kind that holds up even when your brain is already looking for the lie.
Flexible journaling
However the thought comes out.
A thought can disappear before you finish having it. Or it shows up as a feeling you can't put a name to, or a voice memo at midnight, or three words in the notes app. Type it, photograph it, say it out loud. However it comes out, there's a place for it here.
Built for busy brains
Start before you talk yourself out of it.
You know the feeling. You're ready, the window is open, and then somehow forty minutes pass and you still haven't started. The focus timer is a gentle on-ramp — something to catch you in that window before the momentum disappears, without any of the neurotypical productivity pressure attached.
Mood check-in
Just you, noticing yourself a little more.
One question. You answer it honestly or you don't — either way, you're not being scored on anything. Over time you just start to notice yourself a little more clearly. That's the whole point.
The space that was missing
A lot of us have been sorting through our own heads in places that weren't built for it.
You've already been trying to take care of yourself.
The notes app. The ChatGPT window at 11pm because it doesn't judge and it's always there. The group chat you don't want to burden again. Therapy, when you can afford it and have enough left in you to actually be open.
None of those were wrong. But none of them were built for this — for the version of you that's overstimulated and scattered and just needs somewhere to put it down for a minute.
soffyn is the space that was missing — built for how your brain actually works, still there when you come back, and never making a thing of how long you were gone.
Yours, whenever you need it.

What does "neurodivergent" mean?
Neurodivergent describes brains that think, learn, and experience the world differently — including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, anxiety, OCD, and more. A different way of processing, not a broken one.
If you've spent your life in wellness spaces that weren't built for how your brain actually works — you're in the right place. You don't have to explain yourself here.

About soffyn
I built the app I couldn't find.
I built this because I needed it and it didn't exist.
I'm a neurodivergent Black woman, software engineer, and accessibility specialist. I've tried almost every app. They were either too cookie cutter, too demanding, or just too much for my brain. I'm a forgetful girl. Out of sight, out of mind. Streaks don't work for me. My hopes and dreams have a habit of becoming hoarded thoughts in the notes app.
And no app understood the specific exhaustion of spending all day masking — at work, in every room — and coming home to something that asked me to perform even more.
I needed something that meets me in the middle. A space that's gentle, rewarding, and completely okay if I don't show up every single day.
Always there when you need it, and still there when you come back from a long while away.
That's soffyn. I built it for me. And I built it for you.
The women who asked for soffyn before it existed also asked for a place to find each other. That room is coming. Join the waitlist and be first in it.
Founding members
The first room is still open.
150 women. That's it. The founding member cohort is the group that shapes what soffyn becomes from the inside — what gets built next, what the community actually feels like, who's in the room when it matters.
Permanent access to everything soffyn has, free forever — because you showed up before there was anything to show up for.
- Full access to every feature, free — before anyone else pays for it
- First look at what gets built next, before it ships
- A private founding member channel — the room where soffyn gets built in real time
- A founding member badge — because you were here first

soffyn is a wellness app I built for neurodivergent Black women — and for everyone who needed something like this to exist. Daily affirmations, flexible journaling, goal tracking, a focus timer, quick-capture, and privacy controls. No streaks. No shame. Just a space that meets you where you are.
soffyn is built specifically for neurodivergent Black women — people with ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia, sensory processing differences, or any brain that doesn't fit the mold. Everyone is welcome. But I center the people who have been most underserved by wellness apps — because that's who I built it for first.
soffyn is built specifically for neurodivergent Black women — this community is centered, not an afterthought. But you don't have to be Black or a woman to find a home here. If you've been looking for a wellness space that doesn't feel like it was built for someone else's brain, you're welcome.
