About soffyn
I built the app I couldn't find.
I built this because I needed it and it didn't exist.
I'm a neurodivergent Black woman, software engineer, and accessibility specialist. I've tried almost every app. They were either too cookie cutter, too demanding, or just too much for my brain. I'm a forgetful girl. Out of sight, out of mind. Streaks don't work for me. My hopes and dreams have a habit of becoming hoarded thoughts in the notes app.
And no app understood the specific exhaustion of spending all day masking — at work, in every room — and coming home to something that asked me to perform even more.
I needed something that meets me in the middle. A space that's gentle, rewarding, and completely okay if I don't show up every single day.
Always there when you need it, and still there when you come back from a long while away.
That's soffyn. I built it for me. And I built it for you.
The women who asked for soffyn before it existed also asked for a place to find each other. That room is coming. Join the waitlist and be first in it.
